Community First is NCQA-accredited (National Committee for Quality Assurance), meaning our health plans have undergone rigorous processes and successful certification to ensure our standards allow us to provide the best quality services to our Members and Providers. Our goal is to provide our community access to health care for all stages of life, along with the assurance of care for the unexpected, when needed most.

Community First Health Plans (CFHP) is San Antonio's only locally-owned and managed, non-profit health plan. It was established in 1995 to provide health care coverage to the citizens of Bexar and the surrounding seven counties. CFHP maintains a commitment to its members to provide quality health care benefits supported by outstanding service, delivered by people who live right here in San Antonio.
