What to Expect
The Greater San Antonio Chamber will host its inaugural State of Healthcare with panels focused on the looming behavioral health crisis and the billions of dollars in investment in local healthcare infrastructure.
Behavioral Health at a Breaking Point: This panel offers an urgent, no-holds-barred look at the region's behavioral health crisis, the strain on our infrastructure, the fallout from the closure of San Antonio's largest standalone psychiatric hospital, and the collaborative efforts underway to stabilize the system. Panelists will also discuss opportunities for community and business leaders to advocate for both immediate and long-term solutions.
The Pulse of San Antonio’s Economy: This panel brings together the top healthcare leaders from across the region to examine healthcare's impact on the economy, including growth, investment, workforce development, and the future outlook for one of San Antonio's largest industries. The discussion will also explore the billions of dollars in planned capital projects across the region's major healthcare systems, as well as the workforce challenges and opportunities tied to serving San Antonio's rapidly growing population.
