On June 1, business leaders from across San Antonio will gather at The Dominion Country Club for Putts for Paws, a charity golf tournament benefiting San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!), a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing pets at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding, medical needs, or lack of foster placement.

The event offers a rare opportunity to play The Dominion’s championship golf course, one of San Antonio’s premier private clubs and a course typically reserved for members.

Putts for Paws will bring together corporate sponsors, local executives, philanthropists, and community leaders for a day of golf, networking, and community impact. The tournament is played as a four-person scramble and includes breakfast, on-course contests, premium player experiences, and an elevated clubhouse lunch following the round.

Proceeds support San Antonio Pets Alive!’s lifesaving programs, including emergency medical rescue, neonatal kitten and puppy care, foster placement, and adoption initiatives that help give vulnerable animals a second chance.

The tournament is already drawing strong support from San Antonio companies and civic leaders committed to strengthening the community and helping the city maintain its progress toward becoming a no-kill city.
